Easter Half Term 2026

The Easter holidays are here with longer days, a bit more sunshine and plenty of chocolate to keep everyone going. If you’re looking for ways to keep the kids active and entertained, our Active Lambeth centres are packed with things to do throughout the school break.

Holiday Club

4

Available at Brixton Recreation Centre and Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre, our Holiday Club is back, packed with activities to keep kids busy throughout the break. This Easter half term, the holiday club is open to children aged 8 and above, offering a full day of fun in a safe, active environment.

Each day is designed to be more than just childcare, it’s a mix of games, creative sessions and movement‑based activities that keep children engaged from start to finish. Kids can get involved in arts and crafts, court games and swimming (for competent swimmers), with optional add‑on activities like the climbing wall, sport simulator, bowling, karaoke, ice skating and fitness classes available for just £3 each. Add‑on activities vary by centre.

Children should come dressed in comfortable clothes and trainers so they can get stuck into everything on offer. We also ask that they bring a nut‑free packed lunch, healthy snacks and a reusable water bottle to stay fuelled throughout the day.

Swimming at Active Lambeth

If you’re looking for a quick, fun activity this Easter, the pool is always a winner. Our centres in Brixton, Clapham, Streatham and West Norwood offer plenty of space for both those getting their lengths in and families who just want to enjoy the water.

Children under 11 who live in Lambeth can swim for free during all general swimming sessions. To help manage pool capacity, these free swims must be booked online, and proof of Lambeth residency will be required when visiting the centre.

We also run a full programme of swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, delivered by qualified instructors who support swimmers as they build confidence and develop their skills.
