Coming soon: Brixton Rec’s £125,000 gym refurbishment

Brixton Recreation Centre is thrilled to announce a £125,000 gym refurbishment, complete with expanded strength zone, group training and recovery areas – coming winter 2024.

The gym will offer enhanced facilities to provide the Brixton community with state-of-the-art fitness solutions and expanded options for strength, conditioning, group training and recovery.

Powered by Dyaco, the upgrade includes new PIN-loaded kit for versatile training, a dynamic group training zone ideal for small group classes and a dedicated stretch and recovery area. The recovery area will be fitted with two Pro 7 Power Plates, offering members enhanced devices for recovery and performance.

Coming soon to the Brixton Rec gym:

Increased training space: More room, more equipment and more training options than ever before
State-of-the-art equipment: Including full strength and conditioning range, with PIN-loaded machines by Dyaco
New group training zone: A dedicated open area for small group classes
Stretch and recovery area: Featuring power plate technology to support recovery and rehabilitation

This renovation is set to make Brixton Rec’s gym an inclusive, state-of-the-art environment for all, from beginners to seasoned athletes.
