Price Increase for Active Lambeth activities and services

To ensure continuous improvement and to elevate your experience, we have assessed our pricing structure for the upcoming twelve months. Starting on April 7, 2025, there will be a 2.7% up to 9.9% increase in the fees for Active Lambeth’s memberships and 2.7% on activities from April 1, 2025. If you are a monthly paying customer, there is no action that you need to take, and your membership will automatically be updated to reflect the new charge.

We hope that you are enjoying the many enhancements since we took over the service in 2023. These include gym refurbishments, installation of soft play areas, new cafes, a treatment room, karaoke booths, sports simulator and family leisure activities; while we have launched a new swim school curriculum, introduced rhythmic gymnastics as well as pickleball.

As part of our ongoing gym refurbishments, we are pleased to say that Flaxman and West Norwood will have new gym equipment this year, while we are looking at more ways to enhance your membership benefits.

Did you know that Active Lambeth offers an annual membership? If you pay for 12 months membership up front, you only pay for the equivalent of 10 months, representing the best membership value.

Active Lambeth Price Increase FAQ

The price for new membership and activities will increase on 1st April 2025.

The price increase for existing members and swim school members will increase from 7^th April 2025.

Membership prices will increase by up to 9.9%, and our activities prices will increase by 2.7%.

Yes, we remain committed to providing accessible swimming facilities for our young residents.

We continue to look for ways to improve the range and quality of services we offer to our members. We’ve launched new activities such as rhythmic gymnastics and pickleball, while we’ve started offering massage treatments in Brixton and have Cafes in 3 of our centres. We’ve upgraded equipment in some of our gyms, and there will. be more facility and equipment upgrades to come in the near future. Look out for taster sessions, social events and competitions to help you get even more value from your membership.

We offer concession rates to residents in receipt of benefits and discounted pay-as-you-go options. There are also concessions for seniors and juniors.

Purchasing an annual membership presents the best value. If you pay for 12 months up front, you only pay for 10 months.

There will be no changes to the billing or process or billing date due to the price increase. Your membership fees will continue to be billed according to your existing payment method and schedule.
