Lambeth Palace – Lollards TowerÂ
Lambeth palace is the official London residence of the Archbishops of Canterbury and dates back to the 12thcentury and is full of historical interest.
Lollard’s tower was built by Archbishop Chichele in 1440.
Situated on the Southbank of the River Thames directly opposite of the palace of Westminster it has been the home of the archbishops since the early 13th century.
