If you can’t make it…Cancel it!
We have made some changes to our cancellation policy. As of Friday 1 September 2023 we will be introducing a £3 cancellation fee.
Why?
Demand for our fitness classes & other pre-booked activities is on the rise and we are under increasing pressure to improve the availability of sessions for members. We understand that there may be times you are unable to attend, but to ensure everyone has a fair chance to book, we now charge a £3 non-attendance fee.
Keeping our members active is important to us. Cancelling within the cancellation window will allow another member to take your place and ensures our activities don’t run at low capacity.
Don’t be a “no show”.
At present, fitness classes and sports bookings such as badminton and squash incur the £3 charge.
How do I cancel a previously booked activity?
Members can cancel anytime via the app or online.
How much time do I have to cancel?
You have up to 4 hours to cancel a session prior to the activity start time, free of charge. If you cancel after the four-hour cancellation window – or fail to register your attendance your account will be charged a cancellation fee of £3.
I’m a pay as you go customer how does this affect me?
As per our t& cs paid for sessions are *non-refundable.
What happens if I don’t pay my cancellation fee?
Please ensure you pay any cancellation charges promptly. Unpaid charges will temporarily block your account preventing you from booking any future sessions as part of your membership. As part of the changes made to our policy, we have increased the cancellation window from 3 to 4 hours to allow members adequate time to cancel.
You can settle your account and pay the £3 fee via the Active Lambeth app, your online account or by speaking to one of our reception team at your local active Lambeth centre.
Let’s recap:
- Can’t make it? Cancel it? You can cancel up to 4 hours beforehand.
- Ensure you scan in on arrival. This will register your attendance and prevent you being charged.
- *Bookings are non-refundable, bookings cancelled more than 4 hours in advance will be credited back to you. You will automatically be issued with a credit note to your active Lambeth account. This will be valid for a period of 12 months.
- If you cancel less than 4 hours beforehand, you may be charged a £3 cancellation fee.
