Lift Works at Brixton Recreation Centre

The installation of two new lifts at Brixton Recreation Centre is set to commence on June 3, 2024. The project costing circa £250,000, aims to improve the functionality of the lifts and is expected to be completed by early December.

Important Dates for the Lift Works

Works on the first lift in Brixton Rec will begin on Monday, June 3 2024 and is expected to be completed by September. Following this, work on the second lift will start in September and conclude in early December.

During these renovations, one lift will remain operational to ensure safety and accessibility, however slight schedule adjustments may occur.
