As part of Black History month we have prepared some fun fitness inspired activities for you to join in. Please regularly check this page or with your local centre to find out more information.
1. Marshall Major Taylor Spin Bike Speed Challenge
14th October –First Black American world Champion Cyclist (1899)
Session with Fitness Instructor – Jose. 4pm – 5.30pm

1. Usain Bolt Sprint Challenge – HIIT session

2. Mo Farah Endurance Run challenge – in the gym on treadmill – How long does it take you to complete 3k? – challenge will run from 13th – 31st October.

1. “Legends of Strength” Challenge:
“Ali Rounds” – 3-minute boxing bag rounds, how many punches can you land on 23rd of October.
“The Bolt Sprint Challenge” – how fast can you run 100m on the treadmill on 28th of October.
2. “Miles for History” Challenge
Members collectively aim to cover a distance equal to an important route or milestone, such as:The distance from London to Accra (5,000 miles) on cardio machines.
Track progress on a wall chart or TV screen – challenge runs throughout October.
