Bowling FAQs

We recommend booking in advance during evenings, weekends and holidays to avoid waiting. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled booking time to help us allocate your lane and get your names in order to play your game at the time you specified.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund.

A single game usually takes 10–15 minutes per person. For a group of 4, allow around 45–60 minutes.

Anyone aged 16 and under is classed as a junior at Active Bowling.

Yes! We have lightweight balls and ramps for children aged 5 and up.

Yes. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

The bowling alley adheres to all health and safety guidelines, including regular cleaning and sanitisation, especially on shared equipment like bowling balls and shoes.

Yes, we have accessible lanes and ramps.

Yes, we have shoe hire available in a range of sizes, including children for £1.50 per person. Subject to availability.

Active Bowling provides a selection of shoe sizes for bowling.

Shoes sizes available:  27/9, 28/10, 29/11, 31/12, 32/13, 33/1, 35/2, 36/3,  37/4, 38/5, 40/6, 41/7, 42/8, 43/9, 44/10, 45/11, 46/12, 47/13, 47/14.

Only if they are flat-soled and non-marking. Otherwise, rental shoes must be worn for safety.

Yes! Our Café has a selection of tasty hot and cold food on the menu.

Food and drinks are to be consumed at the provided tables. NO FOOD OR DRINK is permitted ON THE LANES at any time!

Yes, alcohol will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 18.

Outside food and drink are not permitted.

Yes, we provide tailored packages for schools, companies and private events. Contact us on 020 7095 5100 for more details.

You can book up to 6 people per lane (The venue holds a maximum of 18).

For large groups, multiple lanes can be reserved.

Our smallest ball weighs 6 pounds. We do have ramps that allow kids to push the ball at high speeds rather than bowl by hand.

There is no dress code. All we ask is that you conduct yourself appropriately and considerately at all times, which includes dressing correctly for a family center.

We offer various promotions, including family deals and seasonal offers. Keep an eye on our website/APP and social media for the latest deals!

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi in the bowling area so you can stay connected while you play. Don’t forget to tag #activebowling in your social media posts.

No parking is available on-site.
