The Active Lambeth Athletes Programme gives talented athletes free access to Active Lambeth Leisure centres across the borough. The Active Lambeth Athletes Programme aims to support athletes competing at the County level or above, in a sport recognised by Sport England. Successful applicants will have 12 months of access to fitness facilities, swimming pool and group exercise at the following centres*:
Athletes accepted to the programme will be selected based on their sporting success and the level at which they compete.
To be eligible, you must live, study or be affiliated with a sports club with a Lambeth training base.
Online applications will open from Tuesday 25 August 2026 and close on Tuesday 8 September 2026.
*The programme does NOT include: funding, personal training, any lessons and courses, access to Brockwell Lido, use of the massage rooms, or use of the sauna.

All applicants must agree to comply with ‘Terms & Conditions prior to the application being accepted. The ‘T&Cs’ box should be ticked at the end of the online application process.
All applicants under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian permission prior to submitting
Full Details of the athlete will be shared with ‘Sports Partners’ to verify applicants’ sporting ability and standing to accurately profile awards.
The information contained on the Application Form must be correct to the best of the applicant’s knowledge.
Recipients of an Active Lambeth Athlete Programme award are not precluded from seeking and securing funding and support from other parties.
Active Lambeth Athlete Programme reserves the right to withdraw ongoing support including gym memberships if Terms and Conditions are not adhered to by supported athletes.
All applicants must recognise Active Lambeth Athlete Programme’s support by using “supported by Active Lambeth Athlete Programme” on publicity materials and social media biographies.
Active Lambeth Athlete Programme will require successful applicants to make themselves available for at least one Event appearance or photo call per annum upon being given reasonable notice, and considering other educational, work or sporting commitments.
Applicants must agree to be role models for other Active Lambeth Centre users, abiding by all Centre rules set out by general managers.
Athletes will be required to provide information to the Active Lambeth Athlete Programme including their competitive events attended and planned, their training regime and general updates by email on a quarterly basis [email protected]
Notification must be given to Active Lambeth Athlete Programme if you incur a personal injury preventing you from continued participation.
6-monthly summary reports must be submitted detailing the competition programme, results, and achievements.
Successful applicants in receipt of an Active Lambeth Athlete Programme Membership must complete all necessary membership documentation and agree to observe the Active Lambeth Membership Terms and Conditions https://active.lambeth.gov.uk/terms/membership-terms-and-conditions/.
