We are carrying out essential upgrade works at Brixton Recreation Centre to install a new energy centre. These improvements will make our systems more reliable and efficient, benefiting the whole centre with improved hot water system, heating and water pressure, as well as more consistent swimming pool temperatures.

To complete this work safely, Brixton Rec will be closed for a short period:

Friday 23 January – Tuesday 27 January 2026

• Closing from 7pm on Friday 23 January
• Re‑opening at 6am on Tuesday 27 January
• Swimming Pool re‑opens Wednesday 28 January

During this time, Active Lambeth memberships can be used at any other Active Lambeth centre.
