We have public sessions available for children and adults and you can learn to skate with one of our nationally acclaimed coaches or just skate for fun. All sessions run for 60 minutes and we advise that all tickets are pre-booked online.

You can also learn to skate with our fully accredited courses under British Ice Skating (BIS), the recognised governing body for ice skating in the UK. Programmes are developed in line with BIS standards, following UK Levels 1–8. All lessons are taught by coaches who are registered with BIS.

Clubs for experienced skaters

Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre is home to various Ice clubs which can be attended when you are a competent skater or have completed BIS UK levels 1-8.

Ice Dance Club
The Ice Dance Club is open to members aged 16 and over and meets weekly. You need a reasonable level of skating ability, for example you have taken part in the group lessons and have attained Skate UK Level 8.

If you are unsure if Ice Dance is for you, join a taster session where club members can help you through the moves.

Figure Skating Club
The figure skating club meets weekly and is open to skaters who have completed up to Skate UK Level 8 and may be working on Skate Star Levels. For more details please contact [email protected] before booking.

Daniel Linden

With over 25 years of skating experience, Daniel has represented Great Britian in ice dance at both national and international levels as part of the British Ice-Skating elite squad. As a coach Dainel is passionate about helping skaters of all ages and abilities reach their potential, whether they’re stepping onto the ice for the first time or training for competitions. He offers group and 1-2-1 lessons, guiding students through the national test system and competitive pathway. Specializing in ice dance, he also teaches free skating and loves bringing creativity to the ice through choreography. No Matter your goal, Daniel will make learning fun, engaging and rewarding.
