A living canvas where artists and skaters and riders from all over come to express themselves.

Opened in 1978 and designed by Lorne Edwards, known as the “grandfather of British skateboarding”

The skatepark is a firm favourite amongst BMXers, Skateboarders, roller-skaters and all other wheeled euhtusiast, it’s a space they love to call home.

Re-opened in July 2022 – Lambeth council & the friends of Stockwell Skatepark spent 500,000 to refurbish the Skatepark. The redesign retained much of the original layout while adding new features and a red surface reminiscent of the 1990s

In 2023, the crown prince and crown princess of Norway visited the skatepark, highlighting its Nordic – inspired design and its role in promoting mental health and community well-being.

Stockwell Skatepark is one of the oldest and most beloved skateparks in the UK.
